IRL G8X 4” Hydroformed EPA Compliant 400 Cell Catted Downpipes

Introducing the NEW IRL 400 Cell Compliant Downpipes for the BMW G8X M2, M3 & M4 NO CEL Guarantee

The BMW G8X platform is an engineering masterpiece, powered by the incredible S58 twin-turbo inline-six. While the factory catalytic converters are designed to prioritize emissions and noise reduction, they also create unnecessary exhaust restriction that limits the engine’s true performance potential.

The NEW IRL 400 Cell Compliant High-Flow Downpipes have been engineered to maximize exhaust flow, improve turbocharger efficiency, and deliver a significant improvement in both performance and sound—all while utilizing compliant 400 cell catalyst technology.

Whether your goal is faster turbo response, increased power, or a more aggressive exhaust note, the IRL 400 Cell Downpipes are the perfect foundation for your S58 build.

Why Choose IRL?

The downpipes are the first component in your exhaust system, making them one of the most effective upgrades for improving overall performance. By reducing exhaust backpressure, the turbochargers operate more efficiently, allowing the engine to breathe easier and respond faster throughout the RPM range.

Key Features

• compliant 400 cell high-flow catalyst technology
• Improved exhaust flow with reduced restriction
• Faster turbo spool and improved throttle response
• Increased horsepower and torque potential
• Deeper, cleaner, and more refined exhaust tone
• Enhanced turbo spool acoustics
• Designed for both daily driving and high-performance applications

Precision Engineered

Every IRL downpipe is manufactured using premium materials and advanced fabrication techniques to ensure exceptional quality and durability.

Features include:

• Premium T304 stainless steel construction
• Precision mandrel-bent tubing for maximum flow
• Fully TIG-welded construction for superior strength
• High-temperature 400 cell catalyst cores
• OEM-style oxygen sensor placement
• Direct bolt-on installation with factory mounting locations
• Engineered to withstand extreme temperatures and high-boost applications

Performance You Can Feel

Reducing exhaust restriction allows the turbochargers to build boost more efficiently, improving throttle response and creating stronger power delivery throughout the rev range.

Drivers can expect:

• Faster turbo response
• Improved acceleration
• Increased mid-range power
• Enhanced engine efficiency
• A smoother, freer-flowing exhaust system

A Sound Worthy of the S58

The IRL 400 Cell Downpipes completely transform the driving experience.

With the factory exhaust, you’ll notice a deeper exhaust tone, improved clarity, and more pronounced turbo spool without excessive cabin drone.

When paired with an IRL exhaust system, the transformation is even greater, delivering sharper crackles, louder turbo acoustics, a richer exhaust note, and an unmistakable motorsport-inspired sound that brings the S58 to life.

Built for Reliability

Performance means nothing without reliability. Every IRL downpipe is designed for long-term durability and consistent performance under the most demanding conditions.

From daily commuting to spirited canyon drives and track days, these downpipes are built to perform.

Experience the IRL Difference

At IRL, we don’t just build exhaust components—we engineer performance. Every product is developed with one goal in mind: maximizing airflow, increasing efficiency, and delivering an uncompromising driving experience while maintaining OEM-level fitment and quality.

If you’re looking to unlock the true potential of your BMW G8X, the IRL 400 Cell Compliant Downpipes are where your performance journey begins.

Two Year Catalyst Warranty

“The new 2026 G8X Models may have a chance of triggering a CEL following BMW’s latest software updates. BMW has been making changes to the vehicle’s software and emissions monitoring, so while the Modular system itself has not changed, certain 2026 vehicles with updated software may be more sensitive to aftermarket exhaust modifications. We are monitoring this closely and testing the latest software versions to determine exactly which vehicles may be affected.”
